The Chinese soldires name Wing Ya Long. he served as a corporal in the Chinese Army. Indian authorites said on Monday that the Chinese troops lose their way and crossed the line of Actual Control (LAC) between India and China and entered East Ladakh. He was captured by Indian forces from Chumar-Demchak area of eastern Ladakh.
The Indian military said in a statement on Monday that Chinese troops would be returned to the country's military as per protocol following due process. The detained Chinese soldiers have been given oxygen, food, medical care, warm clothes and so on.
The Chinese military later confirmed that one of its soldiers had been captured by Indian forces. China has called on India to return him as promised.
