Huge in size , down in quality: Dhaka University

 

Dhaka University has grown by opening new departments year after year. Student have grown,teachers have grown. A large number of administrative staff has been recruited. All in all, Dhaka University has taken a huge shape in terms of size. 

The problem is that the quality of education and related fields has not improved as expected. The university lags behind in  terms of quality of teaching and research, innovation ,classroom and student accommodation and the number of foreign teachers and students. Due to these reasons, Dhaka University is continuously declining in the global ranking. 

According to the least ranking of Kwasquareli Symonds (QS),Dhaka University ranks between 801 and 1000 in the list of 1,003 universities in the world. Dhaka Universities was also 601st in 2012.
